With all that’s happening in the Valley, it’s nice to learn about some things you may not be aware of, and all in one place.
We bring you this installment of New Happenings in The Valley!
Sanctuary Resort’s Artist in Residence Program
The fabulous Artist in Residence Program at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa gives artists a chance not only to showcase their incredible works, but to also share their skills with guests via workshops!
These workshops are for artists of all levels, and are a place where you can get professional instruction from the artist him/herself, and create a work of your own art.
Here’s the info on the next workshop:
Rembrandt Quiballo | February 17, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Quiballo is a visual artist and photographer in the Valley, and focuses his work on how mass media affects our social and political history. Quiballo has received some incredible awards for his work, including the ASU GPSA Research Grant and much more.
During his workshop, Quiballo will teach guests photography basics, including use of your smart phone to take great pictures!
The workshops are priced at $125/person, and reservations are required.
The Scott Welcomes a New General Manager

This announcement comes amidst the resort’s $15 million renovation, which has already brought new public spaces, as well as a new signature restaurant, bar, and lounge, The Canal Club.
Keep your eyes peeled for the other renovation unveilings to come!
