With remote locales and road trips on everyone’s radar this summer, Under Canvas has announced its 2020 opening dates for each of its dreamy locations around the U.S.
On June 11, Under Canvas Grand Canyon will welcome guests to its expansive campsite dotted with safari-inspired canvas lodging tents (socially distanced apart, of course!). The campsite is set on 160 acres of secluded piñon and juniper forest just 25 minutes from the South Rim entrance.
In addition to spaced out lodging, Under Canvas is modifying other aspects of the experience including individual check-ins via a touch-screen kiosk with no check-out required; individual takeout food and beverage orders to enjoy in private tent; EPA-certified cleaning agents between every guest stay, public space and back of house; and hand sanitizing stations available throughout the camps and individual tents.
Other locations’ opening dates include Great Smoky Mountains on May 28, Zion and Moab on June 4, Yellowstone on June 11, Mount Rushmore on June 19 and Glacier on July 1.
