Arizona’s first luxury sky dome resort is slated to open this June near Grand Canyon National Park.
Located 20 minutes south of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, Clear Sky Resorts will host 45 individually climate controlled luxury sky domes that will each feature in-room skylights with telescopes to allow for epic stargazing.
Inside the energy efficient domes, clean-burning fireplaces, luxurious high-thread-count linens on hand-hewn log beds, and wall-sized murals can be found. Guests can choose from among ten styles of domes, including a Deep Space, galaxy-themed dome; a Hello Kitty-inspired dome; and the ultimate tempered glass dome.
Other amenities will include a daily happy hour at the resort’s Welcome Dome, onsite breakfast and dinner options, nightly s’mores next to artisan-crafted fire pits, a lit frisbee golf course, movie nights, live music, astronomy nights, storytelling, lit sculpture night walks, and an out-of-this-world Projection Dome with 360 degree movie watching.
