Boutique Travel Advisors announced the successful outcome of its inaugural Navigating for a Cause event, which took place in November at Volanti in the Scottsdale Airpark. The event raised over $34,000 for PTSD NOW!, a nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health care for Veterans and reducing military suicides.
“We are overjoyed by the outpouring of support from our community,” said Angie Rice, co-founder of Boutique Travel Advisors. “This success reflects the power of collaboration, generosity, and a shared commitment to making a difference.”
The event’s fundraising efforts were especially meaningful to Craig and Julie Rauchle, the founders of PTSD NOW! and honorary chairs. The Rauchles shared their personal story, having lost their son Chase, a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard, to suicide in 2019 following his struggles with PTSD after multiple tours in Afghanistan. The funds raised from the event will help the nonprofit continue its advocacy work and provide crucial mental health services for veterans in need.
“We cannot thank Boutique Travel Advisors enough for their wonderful commitment to our mission of helping the men and women who serve,” Craig said. “Their philanthropic heart and commitment to supporting community nonprofits puts them in a league of their own.”
At the event, Boutique Travel Advisors also unveiled its new initiative, the Luxury Travel Club, a booking platform designed to generate ongoing support for charitable causes. Through the club, clients can book hotels and resorts worldwide while ensuring that a portion of the proceeds is donated to a nonprofit organization. The platform provides access to a vast collection of luxury accommodations, competitive pricing, exclusive amenities, and personalized services from expert advisors.
Initially, the Luxury Travel Club will support three key nonprofit organizations: PTSD NOW!, Make-A-Wish Arizona, and Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, an Arizona-based charity supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Through the platform, clients can log in using their Gmail accounts and will have a minimum of $10 donated for every hotel night they book.
“Thanks to the support from Boutique Travel Advisors, we can continue to provide comfort and care to children and families facing the unimaginable challenges of a pediatric cancer diagnosis,” said Lorraine Tallman, founder of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels. “This partnership allows us to bring smiles and relief to those who need it most, and we are deeply grateful for their dedication to our mission.”
The Luxury Travel Club is expanding its philanthropic mission to include other organizations nationwide. New partnerships are forming with nonprofits such as the San Diego Automotive Museum and Friends of CASA Orange County, and plans are underway to expand further into cities like Austin and Las Vegas.
“Since our inception, in addition to planning premium, luxury travel experiences for our clients, we have also incorporated philanthropy into itineraries, allowing travelers to give back to local communities if they are so inclined,” Rice said. “We intentionally support causes that align with our five Pillars of Community: joy, wellbeing, connection, sustainability and gratitude.”
