Celebrity Chefs to Cook Up Special Tasting Menus at Rancho de Los Caballeros

Rancho de los Caballeros recently announced its inaugural Celebrity Chef Ranch Weekends.

Starting in November, some of the country’s best chefs will visit the Wickenburg resort for one weekend each month until April 2024 to create elaborate multi-course dinners in collaboration with Rancho de los Caballeros Executive Chef Jacob Ellis, who will prepare desserts for the Saturday night events. Award-winning mixologist Jordan Chandler will also create intricate cocktails for the Saturday night experiences.

The first weekend will kick off on November 11 with East Coast chef Beau MacMillan. MacMillan won the “Battle American Kobe Beef” competition against Iron Chef Bobby Flay. He makes regular appearances on “Best Thing I Ever Ate”, “Grocery Games” and “Cooks vs. Cons” on Food Network. MacMillan is the director of culinary operations for Clive Collective and oversees Cala, a Scottsdale Mediterranean restaurant.

Next, local Chef James Porter will visit the ranch on January 27. Porter owns TERRA farm and manor, The TERRA Market and Breadworks Artisan Bread. He focuses on ethical and sustainable ingredients to create familiar dishes with an innovative spin.

Leading female restaurateur and Chef Lisa Dahl will showcase her menu on February 10. Having experience in the Sedona culinary scene for over 27 years, Dahl is the executive chef and owner of six restaurants in Northern Arizona. She has appeared on Travel Channel’s “Food Paradise” and Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay” and recently released a cookbook.

March’s menu will feature Chef Christopher Gross of Christopher’s at Wrigley Mansion on March 16. Gross was granted the Scottsdale Culinary Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 and was also named one of Food & Wine’s America’s 10 Best New Chefs. Guests can expect a modern twist on classic French cuisine.

Finally, the Celebrity Chef Ranch Weekends will conclude on April 20 with Chef Jason Dady. Dady is the owner of five Texas restaurants and a catering company. For two decades, Dady has sought out new and exciting flavors. He mentors other chefs and encourages entrepreneurs to expand San Antonio’s culinary scene.

This Southwestern hospitality experience starts at $325 for a weekend of delicious food and unforgettable memories on the ranch. This package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday night in the dining room, plus plenty of exciting activities to explore on the ranch. After the Saturday night meal, guests will be able to meet the chefs and have cookbooks signed. If you only want to stay for dinner, the Saturday experience is $125 per person.

Rancho de los Caballeros is known for its Sonoran charm and hospitality spread over 18,000 acres. Experience this sprawling and luxurious desert oasis with the Celebrity Chef Ranch Weekends.
