How Luxury California Ski Resorts are Prepping for a Socially Distant Season

The winter ski season is fast approaching, and while the slopes are ready to welcome visitors, some things are changing in light of COVID-19.

Ski California, which represents 32 member resorts across California and Nevada, plans to be fully operational for the 2020-21 winter ski season. The group will implement a “Ski Well, Be Well” initiative to promote best practices based on scientific guidelines from experts so you can be rest assured that your health and safety are top priority before hitting the slopes.

For example, guests and staff will be expected to wear a face covering within six feet of another person, while the resort will conduct frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas, and daily wellness checks for employees.

Purchase a Gold Pass to have ski, snowboard and cross-country ski access across all 32 resorts over the season with the confidence to receive a full or partial refund or credit due to a COVID-19 disruption or event.
