The newly-created Gingerbread Chalet at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is here and ready to bring “ouu’s” and “ah’s” to the valley. Located in the Lobby’s fireplace lounge, the chefs’ masterpiece measures 16-feet deep, 12-feet wide, and 18-feet high. This gingerbread made life-size masterpiece incorporates an interior sitting/dining area and fireplace. The Gingerbread Chalet can be visited by resort guests and non-guests alike until December 26, and it also can be reserved for private dining events, such as intimate holiday teas or dinners.
Dining guests participating in the property’s Teddy Bear Teas on December 13th & 20th will also enjoy special memories of this charming setting.
But, with an area so large and edible…how much of it’s designated ingredients did it take to make this Chalet? Among it’s ingredients are 1,450 pounds of flour, 4,000 egg whites, 1,389 pounds of powdered sugar, 800 pounds of sugar, 20 gallons of honey, and 35 gallons of molasses.
