Old Town Scottsdale will soon welcome its first boutique hotel in over 10 years.
Slated to open Wednesday, December 15, Senna House will be Arizona’s first-ever purpose-built, soft-branded hotel, bringing an energetic pulse to Scottsdale with luxury amenities, entertainment and chef-driven dining options. As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, Senna House Scottsdale will be the newest hotel in the district since W Scottsdale’s debut in 2008.
The hotel was entitled and developed by Phoenix-based investment and development firm Opwest Partners in collaboration with Argosy Real Estate Partners, which together crafted a uniquely branded boutique hotel concept that is steeped in Scottsdale history.
With 169 rooms spanning six stories, Senna House was designed by architect Nelson Partners and built from the ground-up on the site that once housed the beloved Don & Charlie’s restaurant.
Inside, guests will be greeted with lush living walls featuring sustainable succulents, luxe mixed media interiors, contrasting finishes and a home-away-from-home desert vibe, as designed by interior design specialists Studio 11 and House of Form.
At the center of it all is Cala, a chef-driven Mediterranean coastal concept that will delight Senna House guests and local foodies alike when it opens in early 2022.
Upstairs, Senna House’s Sonora Swim Club overlooks Camelback Road and Downtown Scottsdale, featuring only-in-Scottsdale views of Camelback Mountain and the city’s skyline alongside a swanky outdoor cocktail bar. Guests and visitors can embrace ideal winter temperatures in the Swim Club pool, perfect for sipping and soaking the day away.
In addition to upgraded standard rooms featuring creature comforts and luxury amenities, Senna House’s breathtaking suites bring all-encompassing views of the best Scottsdale has to offer. The Winfield Suites feature 570 square-feet of Old Town Scottsdale views, overlooking the happening Entertainment District and cityscapes. The Pinnacle Suites are truly the pinnacle of it all, featuring 730 square feet of space, a separate parlor and private bedroom and a breathtaking corner window to take in the natural beauty of Camelback Mountain, Red Mountain, Superstition Mountain, Four Peaks and Old Town Scottsdale in one grandiose view.
