We cannot hide our excitement about the new luxury resort (re)opening in our very own Paradise Valley, Mountain Shadows. Aptly named due to its position at the base of Camelback Mountain, Mountain Shadows is guaranteed to take your breath away.
The original Mountain Shadows opened in 1959 and though the new resort was completely rebuilt, it will pay homage to the rich history of the Valley and what has made the modern-day Mountain Shadows possible.
Mountain Shadows will serve as the ideal staycation resort, the ultimate wedding destination, and even the perfect place to take care of business with corporate meetings.
Here are highlights of some of our favorite parts of this $100 million project:
- Hearth ’61: Taking its name from the massive hearth that will serve as the fire for your food and the year that Paradise Valley was incorporated (1961), Hearth ’61 will boast ingredient-driven food exploding with flavor. The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows will allow guests to really take in their gorgeous surroundings.
- The Citizen’s Club: A nod to the history of Mountain Shadows, The Citizen’s Club is names after the committee that incorporated Paradise Valley. The resort’s Citizen’s Club is home to a 75-foot pool with food and drink service as well as a pool bar; a fitness center that will have yoga and spin classes; and a juice bar with organic fruits and vegetables.
- The Short Course: This golf course is 18 holes of solely par-3s, hence its name, The Short Course. However, don’t be fooled by the par — this course will be a challenge for even experienced golfers, yet not too intimidating for newbies.
You can expect this and much more at the new Mountain Shadows resort, opening soon. We will be sharing more with you about this fabulous resort, so keep your eyes peeled.
And be sure to check it out for yourself upon opening! This is guaranteed to be a Valley hot spot.
Mountain Shadows resort is located at 5445 East Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley AZ
