A new chapter begins for the Curio Collection by Hilton with the grand opening of Timbri Hotel San Francisco in the heart of the city’s Mid-Market neighborhood. Boasting 236 rooms, this hotel blends modern design and natural elements. As the first Curio property to debut in San Francisco, it offers a unique retreat for travelers, flawlessly integrating the urban landscape with the surrounding beauty of the Bay Area.

The concept of Sanctuary in the City is central to Timbri Hotel’s ethos, bringing together the pulse of San Francisco with the region’s natural charm. The hotel’s design philosophy perfectly balances lush greenery and sleek urban sophistication.

Guests can experience a calming, rejuvenating atmosphere through green-infused color palettes and greenhouse-inspired architecture. The thoughtful design of the lobby, with grounding tones and accents celebrating local culture, invites visitors to relax and reconnect.

The property was designed by world-renowned Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in collaboration with Handel Architects. Its striking flatiron-inspired exterior is a contemporary interpretation of San Francisco’s historic architecture. Developed by Group i, in partnership with New Ceremony, the hotel’s design is a fusion of cutting-edge innovation and a respect for cultural and natural influences.

Timbri Hotel San Francisco offers amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. The property includes four unique dining venues, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and 6,250 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

The rooftop bar, Rise Over Run, features Mediterranean-inspired cuisine blending flavors from North Africa, the Levant, and Southern Europe. For an intimate experience, Dark Bar provides a cozy setting with international spirits and inventive cocktails. Spoke Coffee & Café offers artisanal coffee, fresh juices, and light meals.

Guests can also enjoy an extensive art program, showcasing works by local Bay Area artists like Sasinun Kladpetch and Iwamoto Scott, with rotating exhibits featured in the hotel’s coffee shop in partnership with Root Division. Designed to provide a sanctuary for visitors, this 12-story hotel offers spacious guest rooms with city views, floor-to-ceiling windows, deep soaking tubs, high-speed Wi-Fi and minibars stocked with local favorites.

Timbri is just a short walk from the Moscone Convention Center, Union Square, and the SoMa neighborhood. The hotel’s 2,000-square-foot hospitality suite, with an adjoining terrace, is perfect for private gatherings.
