Do you have a great memory or a historical photo of The Hermosa Inn?
In celebration of its 80th anniversary, the iconic luxury boutique resort is requesting the help of guests and Arizona residents in a quest to find historic photos of the property and hear guests’ favorite memories of time spent at the Inn or at its legendary restaurant, LON’s at the Hermosa.
It all started in the 1930s when cowboy artist Lon Megargee first used the Hermosa as his residence and art studio. Since then, the Inn’s adobe architecture has mixed its “old Arizona” character and charm with 43 newly renovated guest casitas, making it one of the top hotels in the Southwest.
If you have a photo taken between 1936 and 1986 that you’d like to enter, please scan and email a hi-resolution copy to Marketing@HermosaInn.com, or bring it to the resort lobby for scanning no later than Friday, October 14, 2016.
The best historical photos entered will be blown up on canvas to be put on display at LON’s throughout the remainder of 2016, while all photos submitted will be posted on the Inn’s Facebook page. The photo with the most likes will receive a one-night stay and dinner for two at LON’s at the Hermosa.
Another gorgeous #winter day in the desert.
