Sipping a refreshing glass of rosé at the rooftop restaurant théa Mediterranean is the perfect place to enjoy panoramic views of Camelback Mountain and indulge in top-notch food and beverage selections.
The restaurant, located within The Global Ambassador Hotel, was recently crowned as one of “The Best New Hotel Restaurants in the World” by Condé Nast Traveler and was awarded the 2024 Wine Spectator Restaurant Award last month.
The Global Ambassador is owned by Valley hospitality innovator Sam Fox, who has developed other popular Valley restaurants, such as The Henry, Olive & Ivy, Culinary Dropout and more.
Fox worked alongside Master Sommelier Jonathan Ross to curate one of the country’s top restaurant rosé collections at théa Mediterranean.
“Rosé is made in every part of the wine-growing world,” says Ross. “We wanted to both be true to Sam’s relationship to Provençal wine and culture while reaching as far and wide as possible to show the full breadth of the rosé world.”
théa serves nearly 40 different rosé wine options, including still and sparkling varieties. The expansive wine selection is sourced globally, including from major wine-producing countries like Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and more.
The rest of the menu encompasses inventive cocktails and shareable plates inspired by Fox’s time exploring the Mediterranean. To pair well with the rosé, the menu is crafted to transport guests to the Mediterranean. All dishes are crafted with fresh and house-made ingredients; from flatbreads and marinated protein skewers to pasta and coastal seafood.
