Fountain Hills released its visitor guide for the upcoming year, with highlights that Arizona natives and out-of-towners can enjoy. Here are the events around Fountain Hills in 2025:
Happy Hour Wine Walk on the Avenue: On the first Friday of January, February, and March, and again in October and November, the wine walk invites guests to stroll around and visit businesses on the Avenue to try curated wines with community members.
Munch and Music: Four springtime concerts will welcome performers from around Arizona on January 17, February 28, March 21 and April 18. These events are free at the Fountain Hills Community Center.
Arts on the Avenue: Until April 30, the city will go artsy, with an original outdoor gallery available that includes pieces from over 60 local artists. The weekly display of pottery, furniture, wall art, jewelry, fiber art, and more will be adjacent to the farmers’ market on the avenue.
Farmers Markets: With over 60 vendors, the Farmers Market from January 1 to April 30 will offer a unique opportunity for the community to buy food, health, and wellness products from local farms and businesses. The market will happen Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. alongside Art on the Avenue.
Concourse in the Hills: On February 15 the annual Concourse in the Hills event will host its 11th year as “The Greatest Car Show on Grass.” The event will benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital and its efforts regarding innovative research and technology, recruitment of leading physicians and child-friendly programs.
Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts: From February 21 to 23, the bi-annual festival will host 450 artists and craftsmen across numerous mediums.
Irish Fountain Fest: On March 15, food, fun and music will fill the area surrounding the fountain, which will turn green from 12 to 4 p.m. The family-friendly event will have a kid’s zone, traditional Irish folk music, a Celtic rock band, food trucks, a beer garden and more.
Dark Sky Festival: Fountain Hills is an International Dark Sky Community, so on March 29, the town will host its annual, free festival with hands-on activities, live nocturnal animals, exhibits, live music, food trucks, a beer and wine garden, a student art contest and more.
Fountain Hills Music Festival: On April 5, the town will celebrate spring with friends and family gathering for outdoor musical performances, food trucks, drinks from the Bone Haus Brewing beer garden, and fine wine selections at the Grapeables Wine Bar pop-up.
Concerts on the Avenue: On April 3, 10, 17 and 24, live music will play across the Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m. Yard games will be spread around as an acoustic musician and band play.
Fourth at the Fountain: Celebrate America on Independence Day at Fountain Park with festivities starting at 7 p.m. The event will include fireworks, music, games and prizes.
Founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1989, more than 24,000 people call the Town of Fountain Hills home today. Located in the northeast portion of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and bordered by the McDowell Mountain Regional Park, the town’s scenic views and desert terrain provide a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and golf.
