You can hop on a bike and within a mile directly access one of the gateway trail heads to the McDowell Mountain Sonoran Preserve with over 225 miles of trails for all uses. It is exactly 1 mile in each direction from the main Scottsdale access roads.
This 1,097 sq. ft, Cabin Casita is one of three completely different units in a private secluded territorial Casa on a 2 1/2 acre ranch. Each is unique in size, number of rooms, space, furnishings and special character. The Cabin Casita evokes the nostalgia of a cozy, Colorado cabin. As you enter through the glass French Doors, scent of cedar and leather greets you. The entire cabin has been built with rough sawn cedar plank walls, exposed beams and high ceilings. A comfy leather couch, chair, antique wooden furniture and a floor to ceiling, adobe wood burning fireplace complete the feeling. (With a nod to the modern era, it has a brand new flat screen TV as well.) Open to the living area, is fully stocked kitchen with everything you need (even a keurig) and an antique mesquite dining table that seats four. The large master bedroom is just off the living area. It has lovely antique furniture, a king sized bed, flat screen TV, and sitting areas for reading. Finally there is a large rustic, fully stocked bathroom with a separate shower and tub and plenty of storage space. All linens and towels are provided.
French doors with full side lights open out onto a large covered patio from both the living room and the Master Bedroom providing gorgeous views of everything that lies beyond – a large covered patio with antique willow seating, a garden of flowering shrubs, roses, ancient saguaro cacti, palms, another patio with BBQ grill and seating area, the pool, sunsets and more.
Harkening back to a simpler time and a slower pace of life, this ranch evokes a special feeling that is truly difficult to describe in words. It is a place to exhale.
