Better Buzz Coffee Roastery will launch its latest store, in Tempe at 550 W. Elliot Road, on September 12.
The trendy coffee café found its start in San Diego a few years ago and quickly grew a following thanks to the consistent quality of each beverage. Better Buzz is certified by CCOF as an ORGANIC Coffee Roaster and strives to source Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance coffees. The second Arizona site will have an indoor seating area and a double drive-thru for early risers and coffee lovers on the move.
To celebrate, there will be “Life’s Better Buzzed in Tempe” hats for the first 200 guests. Tempe patrons can also order the location-exclusive Cucumber Mate Lemonade for the first 30 days after opening.
“Our first Arizona location in Uptown Phoenix was met with an overwhelming response, and we are truly blown away by the incredible support we have consistently received from the community,” VP of Marketing Amanda Cameron said. “We’re so excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Valley and offer another convenient location for guests to get buzzed.”
While supplies last, customers will receive reusable cups and stickers when purchasing a drink. One lucky caffeine-enjoyer will receive a $500 gift card for signing up for rewards or tagging the new location on social media during opening week.

The Best Drink Ever®: A classic Americano with signature creamy vanilla.
Horchata Iced Latte: Espresso, house-made sweetened cinnamon rice milk, almond milk, and cinnamon sugar.

The Hazelnut Divinity®: Better Buzz’s white chocolate mocha with a touch of hazelnut.
Better Buzz has 20 locations (so far!) offering made-to-order toasts, bowls and sandwiches. The new spot will offer Better Buzz originals, coffee and tea classics, cold brews on tap and smoothies.
