Sicilian Wine Dinner Coming to Phoenix – Now With More Dates!

If sipping Sicilian wine and eating handmade cannoli sounds like your kind of Wednesday night, clear your calendar: The Market By Jennifer’s is hosting a collection of special Sicilian wine dinners as part of their Euro Wine Dinner Series. The first event took place on April 24, with additional seatings scheduled for May 1, May 8, and May 15.

For $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity), guests will enjoy a four-course menu that evokes the warmth of a Mediterranean breeze. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with regional wines and cocktails that highlight the bold, sun-kissed flavors of Sicily.

The evening begins with golden, crispy arancini atop a velvety caponata puree of eggplant, celery, and tomato, paired with a refreshing Sicilian spritz cocktail. Then comes lemon-whipped ricotta with figs, aged balsamic, pistachios, and microgreens—a dish that’s light, creamy, and perfectly indulgent.

The main course features olive oil-poached cod with roasted fennel, saffron, and pine nuts, served in a delicate white wine and garlic sauce over pasta. Dessert is a true Sicilian classic: a crisp cannoli filled with sweet ricotta, pistachios, and a tangy blood orange glaze.

Each course is expertly paired with wines such as Sallier de La Tour Inzolia, Sarrau Vermentino, and Sarrau Cannonau—selected to complement the flavor profile of every dish.

Whether you’re a wine lover, a fan of coastal Italian cuisine, or just looking for a unique midweek outing, this dining experience offers the perfect escape. Even better? The Euro Wine Dinner Series continues beyond Sicily. Each month, the theme and menu rotate to feature a different region and culinary pairings, so there’s always something new to try.
