Uchi Scottsdale is set to bring back its highly anticipated annual chef collaboration dinner series this April. The series will feature exciting partnerships with two standout Arizona eateries: Élephante and Atria. The series will kick off on April 1, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., with Chef de Cuisine Blake Luecke teaming up with Executive Chef Phil Rubino of Élephante for an unforgettable evening of culinary fusion.
The exclusive event will highlight a menu that marries the Mediterranean-inspired flavors of Élephante’s upscale coastal Italian fare with Uchi’s signature Japanese techniques. Guests can look forward to a variety of delectable dishes, including English pea tortellini (featuring treviso, ricotta di bufala, and crispy guanciale), a refreshing octopus salad, and a show-stopping New Zealand lamb dish (black pepper and cumin crusted, served with creamy polenta).
On May 20, Uchi will welcome the talented James Beard-nominated Chef Rochelle Daniel from Atria in Flagstaff. Chef Daniel, a Phoenix native, will return to her roots for a unique collaboration, blending Atria’s hyper-seasonal modern American cuisine with Uchi’s distinctive Japanese influences.
“Uchi has always been a gathering spot for chefs and culinary lovers, and we’re thrilled to host such incredible talent from across Arizona. These collaborations allow us to mix Uchi’s unique flavors with some of the best Arizona’s culinary scene offers,” Uchi Owner Tyson Cole said.
Past chef collaborators have included Chef Matt Carter of The Mission, who brought Latin American flavors, Chef Christopher Gross of Christopher’s at Wrigley Mansion, offering French-inspired dishes, and Chef Cat Bunnag of Glai Baan, who blended Thai and Japanese cuisines.
Tickets for each event are $200 per person, and an optional beverage pairing is available for an additional $70. For more, visit uchirestaurants.com.
