Sassi Consider going the romantic route this holiday with a swoon-worthy spread from Scottsdale’s Sassi. Entree choices include pancetta-wrapped veal loin with truffle potato gratin, roasted baby carrots and porcini sauce; roasted duck breast with butternut squash risotto and cherry foie gras sauce; and grilled sea bass stuffed with herbs and lemon, and served with a crab and arugula fingerling potato salad. JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa At Tuscany, diners may enjoy black cod with Tuscan kale or New York strip with porcini gnocchi, risotto with scallops and roast hen with beluga lentils while guests of Meritage Steakhouse can choose from Brandt beef prime filet mignon with cabernet glacè, smoked prime rib with horseradish cream or wild Alaskan sable fish with morel mushroom lobster sauce at the Phoenix resort’s New Year’s dining spreads.
