Want to know where AFM will be hanging out this Wednesday? Stop by Scottsdale’s Blanco Tacos + Tequila for one delicious Cinco de Mayo celebration. All day long, all starters, cheese crisps, house margaritas and beer are 50 percent off. Plus, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Valley DJ Senbad will be in the house.
Blanco guests can choose signature cheese crisps featuring melted Oaxaca, asadero and manchego cheeses on a crisp flour tortilla. A variety of flavors are available including roasted chicken and poblano chile; chipotle shrimp and corn; or braised short rib and avocado. Half-off starters include guacamole “Blanco-style” with avocado, roasted chile, Cotija Cheese and sea salt; and queso fundido featuring chorizo, caramelized peppers and warm flour tortillas.
What’s Cinco de Mayo with a mmm-inducing margarita? During the day-long happy hour, Blanco Tacos + Tequila will offer six different margaritas featuring unique fruit and flower combinations and premium tequila. The white peach and hibiscus margarita is mixture of Sauza Silver Tequila, white peach and hibiscus syrup. The blood orange margarita combines Sauza Silver Tequila, blood orange with a Grand Marnier floater. The Blanco classic margarita is served blended or on the rocks with Sauza Silver and Patron Citronge.
