Spotted Donkey Cantina II in North Scottsdale hosts a three-day holiday Cinco de Mayo celebration May 5-7 with live music, real spotted donkeys (to pet and take photos with), Mexican cuisine, drink specials (including $2 beers and $4 margaritas) and more. http://www.spotteddonkeycantina.com/.

Carefree Station will be serving a special dinner buffet in celebration of Cinco de Mayo from 5 to 10 p.m. Throughout the day, the restaurant will also be offering $2 off its award-winning margaritas: the Smok’n Guns (with habanero chiles, Mezcal and a smoked sea salt rim) and Thea’s Apple Pie (made with green apple puree, cinnamon simple syrup and sparkling cider). Kitchen 56 in Phoenix is offering all-day happy hour pricing on three specialty tequila cocktails and a street taco special. On Cinco de Mayo, Kitchen 56 will be serving five fish or short rib street tacos for $5 all day long. From 11 a.m. – 2 a.m., Tempe’s Cadillac Ranch will be hosting its 4th Annual “Cinco de Rancho” in honor of Cinco de Mayo. All day, and long into the night, guests can enjoy such Mexicana favoritas, including $2 Dos XX, $3 Cuervo Gold Margaritas, $4 Milagro Silver Shooters and food specials ranging from $2 – $5.
