Yavapai at Enchantment Resort
Sedona is one of my favorite Arizona towns to travel to during the summer months–it’s not quite as hot as the Valley, recreational activities are plentiful and the food is tops. And June seems to be the prime time to visit Red Rock Country thanks to this month’s Dine In Sedona Restaurant Fest. The inaugural Dine In Sedona Restaurant Fest, which is intended to introduce Sedona visitors and residents alike to the town’s culinary establishments, starts Monday, June 15 and ends June 30.
Restaurants participating in the 16-day culinary tour of Sedona will offer specially priced prix fixe menus (each menu will feature three courses). Each restaurant featured during Dine In Sedona falls into one of three categories: modest dining (the prix fixe menu rings in at about $20), classic dining ($30) and elegant dining ($40).

If you’re heading up to Sedona on June 25, we suggest a stop at Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa for the Magical Journey event, featuring a Caribbean-themed dinner, live music, giveaways and more. The buffet will feature cool flavors of indigenous island fruits and greens; Cuban style whole roasted pig served on the traditional banana leaf with black beans and rice; Puerto Rican seafood stews with shrimp, cherry clams and blue mussels and tender sea scallops; roasted Jamaican jerk chicken topped with fresh lime, grilled pineapples and tender, fried plantains. Freshly made Caribbean drinks will be served and adult beverages will be available for purchase. The buffet is $54.95 per person, including tax.
