Whether you’re a Pats fan or an Eagles enthusiast (or you just like game-day grub), there are plenty of delicious ways to celebrate the Super Bowl on Feb. 4 around the Valley.
Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia offers several ways to take in the big game. Stop by Taqueria Centro to watch the Super Bowl on the nine-panel media wall while digging into game-day tailgate specials (think wings, Sonoran hot dogs, potato chip nachos and more). Plus, the resort offers up to 30 percent savings for a “Big Game stayover” if you want make a night of it. For the ultimate Super Bowl Sunday, host your own tailgate party in one of two luxury suites complete with multiple TV’s, plush seating, private outdoor spaces for lawn games and have a customized catered meal.
Red’s Bar & Grill at The Wigwam will be offering Party Platters as well as the popular Philly + Boston beer combo. Share one (or a few!) of the restaurants’s special party platters with friends and family, and enjoy happy hour drink specials. And, of course, the big game will be on!
All Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers locations will have beer bucket specials (buy six, save $6, buy 12 save $12), unlimited $1 mimosa refills, and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar for $10 on Super Bowl Sunday.
Both Half Moon Sports Grill locations will serve as Super Bowl headquarters on Sunday, Feb. 4. Football fans can enjoy Half Moon Sports Grill’s spicy and delicious Bloody Tailgate for $6 and, at Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill at 2121 E. Highland Ave., football fans can order the restaurant’s signature 16-inch pizza featuring a butter and herb flavored cracker crust topped with Papa Moizo’s sweet red sauce, mozzarella and Asiago cheeses for only $10 (normally $14.99) (dine or take out) with $1 toppings, which are regularly $2 each anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m. Plus, limited reservations are still available with a $25 food and beverage minimum per person. All reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Seatings are at 2, 2:30 and 3 p.m.
Kelly’s at Southbridge will host a Sunday Funday to remember on Super Bowl Sunday. Kelly’s will serve $5 wings, $6 nachos, $7 jalapeno popper dip, $5 Absolut you-call-its and $16 domestic beer buckets. Guests can also make reservations to book private rooms to watch the game.
Uptown Alley in Surprise will serve all day happy hour. The happy hour menu includes $5 pulled pork potato skins, cheeseburger sliders and buffalo wings. Drink specials include half price domestic pints, well drinks and $3 house wine, chardonnay and cabernet. The bowling alley also has a 20-foot TV in the sports theater, will set up a projection of the game above bowling lanes and will also play the game on the more than 60 HDTV’s.
The Plaza Bar at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess–a top spot for great cocktails and people-watching –will add 26 televisions for a total 37 TV’s in time for the big game.
For Super Bowl Sunday, Fired Pie will be offering guests an additional 10 percent off catering packages for Super Bowl parties. Guest must give at least 24-hour notice. This offer is valid only for in-store pick-up. Not valid for third party delivery.
Give your heavy game-day grub a healthy makeover by catering from True Food Kitchen. The restaurant will be offering a special catering menu with Herb Hummus, Kale Guacamole, Shiitake Lettuce Cups and Game Day Crudites. Sauce Pizza & Wine‘s new catering menu features guest favorites in packages that appease every appetite. From the basic “Pizza Party” to the “Florence Party Pack,” there are several packages which make ordering easy – or you can pick and choose from a selection of salads, pastas, soups, sides, and desserts.
Doughbird is your one-stop shop for carry out on the big game day. Guests can now take advantage of 20 percent off on bottles of wine, and cans of beer are only $3 when ordering to-go.
Why not make your big game party extra super with Bobby Q’s Big Game Special? It features two of Bobby Q’s most popular slow-smoked meats (brisket and pulled pork) plus buns and BBQ sauce, all for only $40 (makes six sandwiches.) Orders must be placed on Sunday, Feb. 4 (the game starts at 4:30 p.m.)
Sonata’s Restaurant celebrates the most popular sports day of the year in style with a special all day happy hour offerings until close (10 p.m.) Beginning at 10 a.m., guests will enjoy all 16-oz. beers on tap for $3; selected wines by the glass for $5; liquors and all well cocktails for $5 in addition to classic and specialty cocktails for $6 to $7 each. Several happy hour food selections are also available. Guests can catch the game onsite at both the indoor and outdoor patios.
Arcadia Tavern is under new ownership and planning some great Super Bowl Sunday specials. The tavern will be offering $12 domestic buckets (five beers available), $3 domestic drafts and $5 large hot pretzel with cheese sauce.
The game day, The Market by Jennifer’s will offer free delivery within a 10-mile radius from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu is $35 per person and includes prime rib sliders, crab dip, housemade potato chips, crudite and much more.
Celebrate Super Bowl Roaring Fork and Salty Sow to enjoy a special “Dinner On Us” (buy one entree, get one free) beginning at 4 p.m.
On Super Bowl Sunday, Hop Social Tavern will not only be playing the big game on every TV, but will also be extending their happy hour from 3 p.m. to close on both of their patios and in the bar. The happy hour includes food ranging from $3.95 to $6.95 and drinks, including their 52 beers on tap, ranging from $4.50 to $4.95.
Padre Murphy’s will be hosting a Super Bowl LII viewing party.
