etta Scottsdale Undergoing Renovation Under New Acquisition

etta Scottsdale is getting an upgrade following an acquisition by Austin-based RDM Hospitality company, temporarily closing until late September for renovations to take place.

Known for their recent opening of The Guest House, a new social dining destination in downtown Austin renowned for its Alice in Wonderland-inspired cocktails, RDM Hospitality plans to offer similar immersive cocktails for etta’s reopening.

“We think there’s a real void in North Scottsdale for a more immersive and vibrant dining experience,” Chief Operating Officer George Martin said. “We’re planning a transformative overhaul focused on four main areas: leadership changes, design and aesthetic updates, revamping the menu and strategic partnerships. We can’t wait for guests to see how we are reinventing an already great concept to bring something new and different to the North Scottsdale crowd.”

Local architect Aline Architecture Concepts will take over the redesign of the 8,000-square-foot space along with interior designer Social Design Studio. The renovation will create two distinct guest experiences, with more TVs added to the main bar for optimal sports viewing and a more relaxed atmosphere.

The dining room will cater to a more upbeat dining experience, including an immersive sound system created by INFINITE Audio Systems from Miami. It will showcase live DJ performances nightly and have its own separate bar. The restaurant will also offer a moodier vibe, updated lighting, more lush greenery, and a new private dining room, promising a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

The revamped menu will include a modern twist on American and Italian classics. Executive Chef Todd Mark Miller, the founding executive chef of STK Steakhouse (also known for his $100 Philly cheesesteak sandwich at Barclay Prime in Philadelphia), will spearhead the changes.

“The new menu will be a blend of home-style, authentic Italian dishes like your grandmother would have made with a modern twist, along with more high-end entrees, including a selection of steaks,” Chef Miller said. Everything we offer will be made fresh, in-house using the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. We’re also planning some fun, interactive dishes finished table-side that are sure to wow guests.”

etta is located in the Scottsdale Quarter and will reopen for lunch and dinner in September. Brunch will be offered on weekends.
