Raise your glass! Saturday, Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day, and Valley restaurants will be celebrating with some tasty tequila-fueled specials. Check ’em out:
In celebration of National Margarita Day, Sierra Bonita Grill in Phoenix will be offering happy hour pricing all day on two of its most popular margaritas. Sierra Bonita Grill’s made-to-order Fresh-Squeezed Margarita (reposado tequila, orange liqueur, fresh-squeezed lime juice and agave nectar) and Pomegranate Margarita (pomegranate liqueur, reposado tequila, orange liqueur, a splash of orange juice and homemade sweet and sour mix) are typically available for $6 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the bar area only. On National Margarita Day, guests can enjoy these signature drinks for $6 from open to close–throughout the entire restaurant. www.sierrabonitagrill.com.
Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is toasting to National Margarita Day–and not just on Saturday. Anyone who visits www.winztejas.com through Feb. 22 can enter to win free Z’Tejas for a year. The winner will get $100 gift card every month for a year. (In case you’re counting, that’s 240 Signature Margaritas during happy hour.) On Feb. 22, Z’Tejas will also be serving their Little Larry (pictured), a smaller version of the restaurant’s famous 6th Street margarita, for $2.22 in honor of National Margarita Day. There are five Valley Z’Tejas locations: Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and two in Phoenix. www.ztejas.com.
