Fourth of July Dining in Phoenix 2019

Baby, you’re a firework. And you’re probably hungry–so here’s we’re to dine this Fourth of July in the Valley.

Scottsdale’s The Mission serves up its own upscale version of the signature Sonoran-style hot dog, made with premium Kobe beef and all the fixings. Normally served at lunch and priced at $18, this July 4 you can pair The Mission’s Kobe dog with a frosty Cerveza Tecate for only $12 at both lunch and dinner.

Kick off your Fourth of July weekend with a pre-holiday tropical staycation at HULA’s Modern Tiki in Phoenix or Scottsdale, and enjoy Tiki Time Happy Hour food and drink specials served all night long. Offered on Wednesday, July 3, from 3:30 to 10 p.m., enjoy HULA’S extensive selection of island-style starters for just $6 (except ahi items), paired with HULA’s dozen-plus Signature Tropical Cocktails also starting at just $6 each. Plus, enjoy $4 craft draft beers, $3 domestic bottles and $1 off all wines by the glass. (HULA’S will be closed on July 4.)

Beat the heat this Fourth of July with specials and spectacular fireworks shows at J&G Steakhouse, including Chef Jacques Qualin’s three-course summer tasting menu for only $45 plus tax and tip per person. Plus from 5 to 7 p.m., enjoy half-off all bottles of wine under $100 (must order dinner). And don’t forget that J&G’s penthouse perch on the side of Camelback Mountain offers sweeping views of fireworks shows from across the Valley, including The Phoenician’s own firework extravaganza on Friday, July 5, at 9 p.m. 

On Thursday, July 4, guests are invited to Salty Sow and Roaring Fork in Scottsdale to celebrate Independence Day with a special “Dinner On Us” (buy one entree, get one free) treat beginning at 4 p.m.

Pita Jungle in Chandler is hosting a special Independence Day edition of their Jazz Jam on Thursday, July 4. The great guitarist Michael Powers will be joining the Pita Jungle Jazz Jam band as they jam out from 6 to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, June 29, starting at 10 a.m., Cider Corps will release its popular Summer Pie ciders in a red, white and blue three-pack of bottles. The patriotic limited edition will go on sale for $17.76 at the cidery while supplies last. The three Summer Pie ciders are Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Cider (red), Apple Pie Cider (white) and Blueberry Pie Cider (blue). The 16-oz. bottles can be bought only by the three-pack. Guests are asked to limit their purchase to no more than three three-packs.

Wildflower will be offering specialty All American (red, white and blue) cupcakes, Rice Krispies treats with flags on them as well as red, white and blue bread. Additionally, the restaurants will be extending breakfast until 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.

From Thursday, July 4, through Sunday, July 7, order your Someburros Fiesta Platter at least 24 hours in advance and enjoy a $10 discount in doing so. Designed to feed crowds of between 10 and 12 people, Someburros’ Fiesta Platters pack more than 40 miniature Mexican favorites (think mini chimis, taquitos and more served up alongside guacamole, hot sauce and a big bag of chips). Fiesta Platters typically retail for $46, but all eight locations will offer them for only $36 in time for all types of Independence Day parties.  

The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen will celebrate the holiday with all-day “hoppy” hour specials,  like $4 Phoenix Ale Brewery beers, $1 off well drinks, $3 seasoned waffle fries, $3 Biltmore Blonde fish tacos and more.

Guests are invited to celebrate Independence Day with a smokin’ hot deal by enjoying 20 percent off all barbecue and steak menu items at Keeler Neighborhood Steakhouse and both Liberty Station American Tavern and Smokehouse restaurants on Thursday, July 4. The Lola AZ will host a Fourth of July Firework Fest that will be family-friendly and open to the public from 5 to 10 p.m. There will be a patio extension with a live band, grilled food and drinks. (In fact, it’s the only place in Westgate with a patio view of the fireworks.) But most importantly, The Lola will be offering their award-winning Dbacks burger, the Pit Master, on Fourth of July only. The burger includes 10-hour slow-cooked pork piled on top of a 50/50 ground brisket, Angus chuck blend burger patty, topped with sweet and spicy raspberry barbecue sauce, muenster cheese, cowboy candied jalapeños and a bacon aioli. 

Uptown Alley is offering 1776 specials this Fourth of July! The All American Eat and Play Classic special gives guests a one-topping large pizza plus four sodas plus $20 in game play for  $17.76. This is valued at $47. The Play Day for Two deal is two $10 game zone cards, four games of bowling, rental shoes for $17.76. This is a $50 value package.

From July 4 to July 7, select Harkins locations is dishing up the festive Firecracker cocktail: a red, white and blue blend of Tito’s vodka, blue curacao, grenadine, lime juice and simple syrup.

Donut Bar Scottsdale’s delectable Independence Day box is a limited-run box of Fourth-inspired doughtnuts (think red, white, blue, stars and stripes) available Tuesday, July 2, through Sunday, July 7. 

The new Brunch Café in Scottsdale will offer 50 percent off its regular “stuffed pancakes” all day during regular business hours on July 4 to July 7. Brunch Café will serve special red, white and blue “Patriotic Pancakes” complete with organic raspberries, bananas and blueberries, stuffed with the signature brunch cream and sprinkled with powdered sugar on top for only $6 during the holiday weekend.

Sandbar Mexican Grill will be featuring specials all Fourth of July weekend long. Enjoy $4 apple pie shots, $5 Bomb Pop shots, $6 Americarita and pulled pork mac and cheese, plus DJs every day.  The specials will take place July 3 to July 7, at all three Valley locations (Phoenix, Chandler and Gilbert).  

Tempe hot spot Varsity Tavern hosts a special menu presented by Chef Albert (formerly of Monti’s La Casa Vieja fame) throughout the weekend, Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7. Think a festive acai blueberry bowl for breakfast, followed by an all-American cheeseburger and the Very Red, White and Blue Berry Spritzer for dinner.
