One of the great things about summer is that it is perfectly acceptable to make a meal entirely of guacamole and chips. Well, one Scottsdale restaurant is taking that concept up a notch by putting the focus on guacamole for a very special menu. Through Sept. 5, La Hacienda at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is celebrating the goodness that is guacamole at the First Annual Guacamole Festival. In addition to its amazing Modern Mexican menu items, La Ha will spotlight several guacamole and guacamole-inspired dishes (even cocktails!) as part of the fest. Take a look at the tastiness:
Guacamole Tosada Sampler: a tasting of chicharron, langosta and granada guacamoles
Tableside Guacamole
Tradicional: avocado / tomato / onion / cilantro / chile serrano / lime
Langosta al Chipotle: Maine lobster / chipotle aioli / mango / tarragon
Chicharron: crisp pork belly / salsa verde / queso fresco / red cabbage
Granada: pomegranate / granny smith apple / red apple / spiced pistachios
Crudo: ahi tuna / lime / chile oil / jicama / orange / toasted sesame
Drinks
Chipotle-Mango Margarita: chipotle mango tequila infusion / cointreau / fresh sour
Cilantro-Serrano Margarita: cilantro serrano tequila infusion / lime juice / simple syrup
