You might say that Grimaldi’s loves animals as much as it loves pizza. The Valley’s popular pizzeria, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, is proud to sponsor sponsor the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911), a local organization that benefits animal rescue groups. (In fact, PACC911’s founder, Bari Mears, was one of Arizona Foothills Magazine‘s 2012 Women Who Move the Valley.) On Feb. 15, Grimaldi’s will host the PACC911 Special, available at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in Chandler, Casa Paloma. Everyone who orders a large pepperoni pizza from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. will receive a free cannoli. The PACC911 team will also be on site with exclusive pet items for sale to support the organization’s animal medical fund.
Also in support of PACC911, on Feb. 25, Grimaldi’s slices will be sold from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as the PACC911 hosts a local pet adoptathon. More than 30 animal groups–of all shapes, sizes and breeds–will be present during the event, which will be held at Earnhardt Ford Chandler, at Ray Road and the I-10. “Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is proud to participate with such a wonderful organization,” says Joey Ciolli, president and chief executive officer of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. “One of the best things about having multiple locations throughout Arizona is that we have a chance to directly impact and benefit local communities.” www.grimaldispizzeria.com.
