Origen Gilbert, an elevated Mexican steakhouse, has launched two exciting happy hour and reverse happy hour menus that will honor the restaurant’s tradition of friendship and a shared passion for cooking.
“We’re excited to introduce our new experiences, combining the bold flavors of Origen with an inviting, social setting that anyone can enjoy,” Co-owner Eduardo Medina said.
Happy Hour runs Sunday through Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m., while the reverse Happy Hour runs Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to close. Visitors are greeted by a modern rustic aesthetic, inviting them into the intricately designed restaurant and warm ambiance.
Available on both menus are an array of $10 cocktails including Hibiscus Mezcalita, Cucumber Mezcalita, Penicillin, Diamante Negro, Carajillo, Paloma, French 75, Clover Club. For those in the mood for wine, Origen also offers $10 house selections such as Bonanza (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Mer Soleil Silver (Chardonnay).
The new menu boasts a variety of small bites like the rustic guacamole, mesquite crispy octopus and queso fundido. Those looking for a full meal can check out the Picanha Steak Tacos or Angus Skirt Steak, among other dishes. Perfect for late night weekend warriors, the reverse happy hour includes $2 off appetizers in addition to the drink deals.
“Whether you’re unwinding after a long workday or looking for a place to start your night out, our handcrafted cocktails, premium cuts, and vibrant small plates offer the perfect way to celebrate with friends,” Medina said.
