Don’t wait for an anniversary or a birthday to celebrate with a special menu. Phoenix’s J&G Steakhouse and Sushi Roku are celebrating the more simple–yet awe-inspiring–things in life with their new Full Moon Social and Sunset Menus, respectively.
The Full Moon Social at J&G Steakhouse The Full Moon Social will debut during the first full moon of the year on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at The Phoenician’s J&G Steakhouse. The $30 all-inclusive tasting will celebrate the lunar phase with an assortment of specially crafted and handmade small bites and cocktails at the Phoenix restaurant’s patio, which proffers views of the Valley. Every month, J&G Steakhouse will host a different theme, and January kicks off with citrus, one of the five “C’s” of Arizona. (As Arizona’s historic catchwords, the five “C’s” are the lifeblood and main economic resources for the state: Cattle, Citrus, Climate, Copper and Cotton.) The Full Moon Social dining events start at 5:30 p.m., giving guests a chance to sample cocktails before the dinner begins. Here are the options for January’s citrus-themed Full Moon Social at J&G Steakhouse:
Cocktails:
Arizona “Winter Harvest” Punch
Yuzo Lemon Drop
Grapefruit Gimlet
Food:
Chicken Samosas
Lobster Roll
Shrimp Satays
