NYC’s Famous Catch to Open First Arizona Restaurant in Scottsdale

Catch, a globally-influenced seafood restaurant with acclaimed locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Aspen, is bringing its modern renditions of classic dishes to Arizona for the very first time.

Set to open in 2025, the 11,800-square-foot restaurant will be located in Scottsdale Fashion Square’s luxurious south wing, which is currently undergoing an extensive renovation that should wrap up later this year. The new Scottsdale restaurant will offer Valley residents the same vibrant dining experience found at Catch New York City and its other locations, which combines simple yet elegant seafood, sushi and steak with excellent service and a lively atmosphere.

The Asian-inspired menu offers “Catch classics,” such as Grilled Spanish Octopus, Crispy Chicken Bao Buns, Lobster Macaroni and Wagyu Goza, while signature dishes include the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, A5 Wagyu On A Hot Rock, Mushroom Spaghetti and Cantonese Lobster. Guests will also be able to enjoy a raw bar, salads, desserts, wine and cocktail offerings, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Catch Hospitality Group, which was founded by Mark Birnbaum, Eugene Remm and Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, are working with the same architecture firm who designed the four previous Catch locations, Rockwell Group, to design the Scottsdale space. Catch Scottsdale will feature a sleek design along with modern architecture that will create an inviting and animated experience.

“The opening of Catch in Scottsdale marks an exciting milestone for both the brand and the area, solidifying their positions as trendsetters in the realms of hospitality and elevated dining,” Birnbaum told Phoenix Business Journal. “By combining the elegance and sophistication of our upscale eatery with the lively atmosphere of Scottsdale Fashion Square, we are creating a truly unique destination.”
