Downtown Phoenix’s newest nightlife gem, Quartz, is celebrating the art of mixology with the launch of the Classic Cocktail Alphabet, featuring 26 fun, classic cocktails that guests can experience over the span of 26 weeks.
Each week in the main bar and lounge, Quartz will highlight a different classic cocktail for every letter of the alphabet to honor the foundations of mixology and pay homage to the all-time classic cocktails that make the world of mixology go ‘round.
The Classic Cocktail Alphabet kicked off July 3 with the Aviation cocktail for the letter “A” and is followed by a cocktail that begins with the next letter of the alphabet every week, moving on to Blue Hawaiian, then Caipirinha, Daiquiri, Espresso Martini and so on.
For each week of the Classic Cocktail Alphabet, the talented team behind the bar will share stories of these timeless creations, all while perfecting their slinging skills. Plus, guests get to try each classic cocktail of the week and redeem a punch card for a chance to win prizes.
Committed cocktail enthusiasts who rack up all 26 cocktails will receive a Quartz Classic Cocktail ABC’s shirt, while one lucky winner will also receive a $200 gift card and reservation for two in The Cave, the 90-minute, exclusive cocktail experience at Quartz featuring a mirrored rose-gold arched crystal cave with private booths for a high-end, elegant escape.
