Looking for a fun outdoorsy activity to do while the weather is still cool? Head out yonder to the Queen Creek Olive Mill this weekend for the Olive Oil Festival, which starts today. The mill, which carries its delicious goods at many local restaurants and shops, will host tastings, live music and work from local artists.
Other happenings at Queen Creek Olive Mill include a goat cheese and fudge tasting by Fossil Creek Creamery at Queen Creek Olive Mill (10a to 2p). Umm, yes please. At the same time, indulge in wine tastings from Valley of the Sun and small Italian vineyards. On Sunday, stop by for a sampling of vino by Kokopelli Wines (12 to 2p).
Can’t make it down to the Queen Creek this weekend? No worries. The Queen Creek Olive Mill festival ends Feb. 15. 480.888.9290. www.queencreekolivemill.com.

Yes please, you’re so right!
Thanks so much for letting us know about this! This is a fun outdoor thing I can definitely get the hubby to! PLUS I do love their Olive Oil. Just last night I used some of the dipping olive oil at dinner. Tasty!
I never knew this place was there either! I love wine tastings!
The weather is PERFECT for this!
Well now I know what to do prior to the Cardinals game. Live 10 minutes away and have been meaning to stop in. No better reason than now!
