Randy’s Donuts Opens Second Valley Location

Randy’s Donuts, a beloved staple frequently featured on “Best of” lists across the Valley and beyond, is expanding its presence in Arizona with its newest store in Chandler. This marks the second Valley location for the world-renowned shop, which officially opens on August 29. As the highest-rated donut shop on Yelp, Randy’s is already set to become a local favorite in the East Valley.

Randy’s Donuts is offering a sweet deal for early risers to celebrate the grand opening. The first 100 people in line on August 29 will receive a free glazed donut and an opportunity to enter to win a free dozen classic donuts for a year. Three winners will be drawn on September 1.

“Our first location in Phoenix was a huge hit,” Managing Partner Brian Padilla said. “People know Randy’s from our appearances in movies and television shows. We’re honored to be a part of the legacy. Our donuts are delicious, and we’re excited to expand throughout the Phoenix metro area.”

Randy’s Donuts offers both raised and cake donuts; customer favorites include glazed, chocolate, sugar, and maple raised.

Cake lovers can enjoy options like plain, devil’s food, cinnamon crumb, cherry iced and pink sprinkle cake donuts. For those seeking something more unique, Randy’s offers a matcha tea, coconut, and blueberry cake donut and Randy’s Rounds (a much larger version of a donut hole).

In addition to the classics, Randy’s also offers a premium selection that includes indulgent options such as Long Johns, jelly-filled donuts, apple fritters and the cronut – a hybrid of a donut and a croissant.

The sweet treatery recently unveiled its new beverage line, as well. Guests can try out boba, classic and specialty coffees like the butter crumb or sea salt caramel latte, milkshakes and frozen delights like pina colada and watermelon lemonade.

Entrepreneurs Brian Padilla, Richard Suzuki, and Carlos Munoz plan to open multiple franchised locations in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. In September, they will announce additional locations throughout the East Valley.

Founded in 1952 and best known for its 32-foot rooftop donut from its original location in Inglewood, California, Randy’s Donuts has made every donut by hand, using exclusive proprietary ingredients that produce a donut that is fluffier, airier, larger, and stays fresh longer. Randy’s also offers food offerings like handmade breakfast sandwiches and stuffed croissants.

Randy’s Donuts is now open inside the Pilot Travel Center at 17405 S. 40th Street. The store will open at 6 a.m. and features a drive-through for added convenience. Learn more on Instagram @randysdonuts or visit randysdonuts.com.
