Slip into those stretchy pants: On Saturday, Scottsdale’s Market Street at DC Ranch will welcome Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation culinary event. Thirty of our state’s top chefs and restaurants will gather for exclusive wine and food tastings, live and silent auctions and live entertainment. Expect to sample goods from Market Street residents Heirloom, Armitage and Sol y Sombra as well as Talavera from Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, T. Cooks at the Royal Palms, Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn, elements at Sanctuary, Sassi, Sushi Roku and several more.
Proceeds from Taste of the Nation will benefit Share Our Strength, an organization dedicated to the fight against childhood hunger, as well as St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance and the Association of Arizona Food Banks. The event is from 7 to 10 p.m., with a VIP reception at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $125. www.tastearizona.org.
