Strad Pizza To Open North Scottsdale Location in April

Strad Pizza, the latest culinary venture co-created by entrepreneur Freddy Nguyen and supercar YouTuber James “The Stradman,” is set to open its doors in North Scottsdale on Saturday, April 12, from 6-9 p.m. The opening event promises an exciting blend of gourmet pizza and high-octane car culture.

Located on Scottsdale and Thunderbird Roads, Strad Pizza brings an edgy twist to classic New York-style pizza. The 1,215-square-foot space emanates a sleek, trendy ambiance with vibrant neon lighting, colorful accents, and an innovative layout. Guests place their orders at the counter, grab a seat at the bar, or enjoy the indoor/outdoor vibe made possible by a garage door.

The menu is full of surprises, offering 20-inch pizzas and individual slices made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Not to be missed are the pizza knots, including cheesy garlic truffle knots, cinnamon toast crunch knots, and stuffed Nutella knots. Strad Pizza offers vintage sodas and its signature “Strad Swirls,” a fun take on the soft-serve ice cream cone.

The walls are adorned with vibrant artwork of some of The Stradman’s favorite cars, while the crown jewel of the space is a massive custom mural by renowned graffiti artist Jack Soren. This striking piece features two of his most iconic supercars set in a colorful desert backdrop, truly capturing the spirit of the restaurant’s theme.

“I love cars and pizza, so I’m incredibly excited to bring this new concept to Scottsdale,” Stradman said. “Nothing brings me greater joy than sharing what I love with my fans. I hope that Strad Pizza will become a hub for car enthusiasts and pizza lovers alike.”

With a following of nearly 4.5 million subscribers and over 1.1 billion views, Stradman has built a devoted fan base over his career. The pizzeria will offer exclusive merchandise, including colorful t-shirts, hats, and collectible plastic souvenir cups.

Nguyen brings years of experience in hospitality, entertainment, and branding to the eatery. He founded HUB 1111, a creative design and development company, and served as an entertainment consultant for Gila River Resorts & Casinos. Previously, he helped launch Hash Kitchen and The Sicilian Butcher as chief marketing officer for The Maggiore Group.

“I’m thrilled to work with such an amazing and talented partner to bring this unique restaurant concept to Scottsdale,” Nguyen said. “While branding has always been my thing, we have paid just as much attention to the food quality and the design. This is the first time I’m stepping out from behind the scenes, and I’m proud of what we’ve created.”

The grand opening will have a “Cars & Pizza” theme, a supercar show in partnership with Highline Autos, DJ entertainment by Meet 2 Nice U, pizza, soft drinks, and exclusive Strad Pizza merchandise. The Stradman will be on-site to greet fans and celebrate the launch. For more information, visit stradpizza.com.
