The the seasonal watermelon and arugula salad (pictured), which is totally refreshing and light and perfect with rosé, or the summery vegetable salad with organic spring mix, carrots, asparagus, cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, avocado, zucchini, parmesan and red wine vinaigrette paired with pepperoni and crimini mushroom pizza.
Chef Samantha Sanz of Talavera at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North has created Summer in Seville, a new prix fixe menu for two that offers the best of seasonal dining at a special value ($98 per couple). Guests can begin their evening with a porrón of sangria or a bottle of txakolina, a light effervescent Spanish wine ideal for summer enjoyment. The meal continues with a tapas dish to share, a verdura (vegetable dish), and Chef Sanz’ summer version of her signature paella. For even more of a treat, Talavera features the live music of a flamenco guitarist each Thursday evening. The Summer in Seville menu is available through Sept. 1.
Lincoln, a JW Steakhouse, at JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, is featuring its Summer Sizzler three-course dinner special between now and Sept. 1. True Food Kitchen at Biltmore Fashion Park has launched a summer social hour with $5 bites and sips every Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m., available through Labor Day.
