In honor of Sushi Roku‘s ninth anniversary, the stylish sushi spot at W Scottsdale is offering 50 percent off food purchases from Oct. 16 to Oct. 19. (The deal applies to dinner and dine-in only.)
Where to start? How about sampling Executive Chef Joseph Castillo’s newest additions? Standouts include the Octopus Crudo, with yuzu kosho olive oil and lemon, Tuna Tartare and the Toro Carpaccio with oscietra caviar. Other unique options include the Avocado “Hanabi,” which translates to “fireworks” in Japanese (think the superhero of avocado toasts), the Chilled Roku Ramen with shrimp, sesame miso, cucumber and poached egg and two new Signature Rolls, the Gensai with seared togarashi salmon, kizami wasabi and avocado, and the Senshi, a roll built around yellowtail featuring cucumber topped with avocado and spicy aioli.
For those dining with a crowd, the Tuna Pizza, with crispy mushroom, balsamic, wasabi, aioli and serrano, is sure to be a hit.
Though cocktails aren’t included in the anniversary special, take a sip of one of 10 brand new cocktails available for $15 each, like the green tea-infused Matcha Mule, Everything Zen with Nigori Sake and The Ish, with shishito peppers, to name a few of the fresh tipples.
