What inspired you to take part in the Taste of the NFL’s Party with a Purpose? Inspiration comes from wanting to help in any way possible to help the less privileged enjoy meals some how. As chefs, it is our responsibility to give back to the community through charitable work.
Any hints as to what you’ll be dishing up at the party? My dish is inspired by local ingredients, like crab and local brewed beer.
Say you’re hosting a Super Bowl party. What dish do you serve to guests? Killer Nachos for Super Bowl, Firey Chicken Wings and Chile (all beef) served with cornbread and sour cream.
What do you love most about what you do? I love the fact of someone eating a dish and saying that was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Memories of great meals for our guests is essential to ours and our guests happiness.
What are your goals for the coming year? Re-opening a really great restaurant and developing a great crew and staff for our fine dining restaurant, Ancora!
What food bank are you supporting? Capital Area Food Bank
Favorite Super Bowl memory: Watching Brett Favre when his first Super Bowl with the packers. There was a packer fan dressed as the pope and his pontiff read Saint Vince!
Favorite sports-watching snack: Chips and chunky guacamole.
Favorite cocktail to whip up for Super Bowl guests: Margaritas on the rocks with Cuervo 1800 and Gran Marnier!
