To celebrate National Iced Tea Day, Eklectic Pie is offering a free ice tea to any patron all day on June 10. Eklectic Pie partners with China Mist and will be offering Coconut Pineapple Green Tea and Strawberry Guava Black Tea at their Mesa and Chandler locations on June 10. Limit one per person.
C-CAP is hosting a one-night-only fundraiser on Tuesday, June 14 with Clever Koi to raise money for C-CAP programs and their support of young chefs in their pursuit of a career in the culinary arts industry. Dine Out for C-CAP is partnering with Clever Koi, to donate 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds to support C-CAP and their programs to help at-risk high school students enter the culinary arts industry. In addition, Clever Koi will have information on hand so diners can learn about C-CAP and its importance in the culinary arts industry.
Sushi Roku is celebrating International Sushi Day a little bit early this year by offering 50 percent off all food on Thursday, June 16 to kick off summer and celebrate a love of sushi. Although International Sushi Day is recognized on June 18, Sushi Roku is eager to let the summer love affair begin, so stop in to savor your favorite sushi, signature rolls or entrees at half off from 5 to 11:30 pm on June 16. Hosted by the ALS Association Arizona Chapter, the eighth-annual Bite Nite will be June 11 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. Bite Nite raises money for those diagnosed with ALS along with helping families affected by the fatal disease. On average, yearly expenses for living with ALS is $200,000. Guests can enjoy food from chefs and restaurants in the valley along with taking part in life and silent auctions. There will be a Best Bite of the night award where guests can vote for their favorite food of the night. Tickets are $150 per person or $1,500 per table which includes 10 tickets. Tickets must be purchased by June 9, 2016, and can be purchased at bitenite.org.
