Crab & Mermaid Fish Shop has debuted a new build-your-own menu. The BYO poke bowls can be customized to patrons’ myriad tastes, plus BYO seaweed-wrapped rolls and tacos can be made in any style that guests request. Table-side checklists offer lots of flavor options including shrimp, lobster and fish, always hand-cut, and proprietary seasonings and specially crafted sauces, such as a sesame soy vinaigrette.
Grimaldi’s serves up a seasonal peppermint cheesecake, with an Oreo crust. It is served with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and a mini candy cane. This cheesecake is available until Dec. 31. Plus, all Grimaldi’s locations will be collecting new and unwrapped gifts for the Scottsdale Fire Departments Holiday Toy Drive. On Sunday, Dec. 18, the DC Ranch Grimaldi’s will host a holiday event to present the organization with all the toys collected. This special fundraiser will feature Cannoli’s, pictures with Santa and a Fire Truck.
AJ’s Fine Foods will celebrate National Ugly Sweater Day by giving half off the cost of a large coffee or tea to customers who dare to wear their most garish holiday garments. While Ugly Sweater Day falls on Friday, Dec. 16, AJ’s Boulangerie will celebrate the holiday all weekend long (from Friday, Dec. 16 to Sunday, Dec. 18) at its 11 locations across Arizona.

Market Street Kitchen in North Scottsdale has launched a new brunch menu, featuring 10 varieties of benedicts including Green Chili Pork Benny and California Benny featuring turkey breakfast and avocado, Market Street Kitchen has something for all taste buds. In addition to their MSK Benny Corner, Market Street’s all new brunch menu includes traditional favorites like ham and eggs, featuring a 6 -oz. ham steak and eggs any style, silver dollar pancakes and more.
Pomo Pizzeria Scottsdale (pictured) is celebrating three years in the pizza-making biz this month by offering up $3 food and drink deals for three days straight from Dec. 13 to 15, leading up to an extra special anniversary party on Thursday, Dec. 15, when guests can enjoy live music, complimentary bites and giveaways including a special Tuscan olive oil gift package from Sogno Toscano, with the celebration kicking off at 4 p.m.
