Pedal Haus is kicking off their new collaborative series with the highly-acclaimed Arcadia taqueria, CRUjiente Tacos during Cinco De Mayo weekend. Julian Wright and Brewery Director, Derek “Doc” Osborne worked hand-in-hand with Executive Chef Richard Hinojosa and co-owner Jason Morris to create a one-of-a-kind seasonal brew along with a specialty dining experience. The restaurateurs will be debuting an exclusive culinary creation and beer in a “pop-up” setting at Pedal Haus Brewery from noon to 3 p.m. at Pedal Haus on Sunday, May 7. Chef Hinojosa will be taking over the kitchen for the day and serving up gourmet-street style tacos in conjunction with the release of the “CRUlaboration” beer, a Blood Orange Gose-style beer that will be properly paired with a Roasted Pork Belly Taco with Habanero Blood Orange Glaze . For people who cannot make it to the event on Sunday, guests will be able to enjoy the same beer and taco combination on Monday, May 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at CRUjiente Tacos in Arcadia.
Every Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m., enjoy Girl’s Night Out with LDV Winery in Scottsdale. Participants can get together with old girlfriends or meet new ones over wine and nibbles. The night includes half-off featured wine by the glass and happy hour prices on all other wines plus nibbles.
Available Wednesday, May 3 through Tuesday, May 9, stop by Hopdoddy for its 7 Layer Loaded Fries. This seasonal special features a large order of the burger bar’s hand-cut Kennebec fries served with a side of house made seven layer dip. Hopdoddy’s seven-layer dip features refried black beans with bacon, cheddar cheese, green chile queso, guacamole, pico de gallo and fresh cilantro that is poured all over the fries to create the seventh layer. To seal the deal on this amazing special, the 7 Layer Loaded Fries are served with two mini frozen margaritas or two ice-cold Mexican Cokes.

During the anniversary party on May 9, experience the best of T. Cook’s during an evening of culinary favorites, specialty cocktails and spectacular wine. The restaurant will close for the evening and invite guests to mix, mingle and experience a journey though T. Cook’s classic dishes while enjoying live music. After nearly 68 years in business, Wednesday, May 10, will be known as Miracle Mile Deli Day. To celebrate the day, 20 percent of the proceeds from that day’s sales will go to Feeding Matters, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of pediatric feeding struggles. Also on that day, noon to 8 p.m. every hour, there will be a $100 gift card to Miracle Mile Deli given away to someone. People can stop in all day to register to win.
