Spinato’s (pictured) is offering a delicious deal for the months of July and August. Stop in for a specialty pizza (Mama Spinato’s Signature Fresh Spinach, Chicken Presto Pesto, L’Italiana, Mama’s Award Winning Other Signature, Get Meaty, Da’ Greek, Salsiccia di Pollo, Vegetarian, Roasted Fennel & Italian Sausage, The Super Six) and bottle of Provisioner wine at Spinato’s for only $25.
MATCH: Restaurant & Cocktails at FOUND:RE Phoenix debuts Sunday Suppers every second and fourth Sunday beginning July 9 at 6 p.m. The family-style suppers are set at communal tables for seating up to 20 people, inviting large crowds, family reunions and other groups to join together in this creative dining atmosphere. For $40 per person, the menu features a wide array of innovative dining options beyond MATCH’s regular menus, and reservations are required/recommended. (Beverages and other menu items can be purchased for an additional price.) The July 9 menu includes Black Mesa Ranch whole suckling pig, smoked ham hock mac and cheese, apple pie and more.
Organ Stop Pizza will get in the holiday spirit for the United Food Bank Christmas in July Food Drive Challenge. Bring in at least two approved, non-perishable food items between July 1 and 31 and receive 10 percent off your entire kitchen bill that evening while enjoying The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and delicious pizzas, pastas, salad and more. Most needed items are: cash donations, peanut butter, canned meat, canned fruit and veggies, cereal, soup, stew, chili, beans, canned or dried milk, rice and pasta. (No glass jars, baby food or opened food.)
Christopher’s Restaurant will host a special three-course, prix-fixe menu Monday, July 10, through Sunday, July 16, 2017, in honor of Bastille Day, which many consider the catalyst of the French Revolution (July 14). The meal is available for $44 per person plus tax and gratuity and features French green bean salad with duck confit, hanger steak with shallots and roasted garlic, tarte tatin, among many other offerings. Wine pairings can also be added to each course for $20 per person, and all couples who attend Christopher’s Bastille Week celebration will receive a house-baked baguette they can take with them following the meal. New Wave Market, the sister concept to Super Chunk Sweets & Treats, opens on July 8 in Old Town Scottsdale. To celebrate, owners Sergio and Country Velador will be handing out free mini-scoops of their house-made ice creams. The ice creams are part of the new and expanded menu at the market. Some of the flavors they’re preparing include roasted strawberry sherbet, matcha with blueberry jam, cake scrap and more.
Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles Phoenix locations are honoring National Fried Chicken Month with a full month of fried chicken goodness. Starting July 6 and throughout the month, anyone who stops by any Lo-Lo’s Phoenix location and orders one of the eatery’s iconic “Hood Classics” meals will score a free side dish of their choice for the table, with purchase. (Choice of free side dish for the table with purchase of any “Hood Classics” meal. Limit one per table, per visit.)
Throughout the month of July, when guests purchase fudge in store, Tempe Marketplace’s Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will donate a matching quantity of fudge to Packages From Home, a Glendale-based nonprofit organization dedicated to service men and women overseas. In addition to the donations, guests can write a “thank you” note to military service members, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will ship them with the donations.
Starting July 1 through August 20, while supplies last, SUBWAY locations across Arizona are offering free coupons good for one free one-day child park hopper ticket with the purchase of a full-price adult hopper ticket to LEGOLAND California and LEGOLAND Water Park.
