Today, Feb. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m., Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery is hosting a launch party to unveil the revamped Outlaw Mosaic IPA. (This update features the Mosaic hop, providing big citrus, pine and tropical fruit flavors that are balanced by a subtle malt backbone.) Additionally, seasonal beers will be released, like the Red Eye Coffee IPA, Gratuitous Meringue American Barleywine and In the Dark Blackberry Sour Ale, and all are available for a limited time only. Guests will be able to enjoy $5 flights that will include all four of the new beer releases and $4 Beer of the Day as well as an extended happy hour, available until 8 p.m.
The newly opened Woody’s Macayo Mexican Restaurants makes happy hour even happier with newly released drink and food specials every Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., with a reverse happy hour from 8 p.m. to close. (Select apps, like the pictured queso fundido, are only $5!) The Phoenix restaurant will also host a variety of fun events designed to engage social interaction.
Jennifer Russo and David Duarte have a new joint venture—and it debuts on Feb. 24. These two chefs have come together to create a unique “space share” at The Market Restaurant + Bar in Phoenix as they will share the restaurant space with two distinctly different restaurants on varying nights. Russo’s The Market Restaurant + Bar will continue to serve the brunch, lunch and dinner menu her clientele knows and loves. The Market will be open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for brunch; Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for lunch and dinner; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for brunch and the first and third Saturday of every month for dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Duarte’s new concept, Finestre Modern Gastronomy inside The Market will serve dinner only Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 5 to 10 p.m.. Duarte’s menu will change seasonally and will be five, seven or nine courses, with wine pairings available. Get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on IHOP National Pancake Day, Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating IHOP locations throughout the Valley. Guests in the Phoenix area are encouraged to donate any amount to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Valley’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, in exchange for a free stack.
On Saturday, Feb. 24, enjoy delicious brews, fine wines and a perfectly prepared five-course meal as ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho has teamed up with Huss Brewing Company and Arizona Stronghold Winery to create a tasting showdown that’s sure to please beer and wine lovers alike. Following each course, a secret ballot vote will be held to determine the ultimate winner in the beer versus wine showdown. Indulge your palate with a special menu from executive chef Russell LaCasce, including Kauai Prawns in chili butter, crispy duck confit on toast, caramelia pot de crème and more.
