White Castle is coming to the Valley! The beloved fast-food hamburger restaurant will open at “The Block” located on Route 101 in Scottsdale. The new Castle, which is targeted to open in 2019, will mark the family-owned company’s first restaurant in the state of Arizona and is expected to bring 50 to 75 new jobs to the area.
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has introduced an exclusive “Bright Future” Blend Coffee and apple-inspired tea to benefit local teacher projects and classrooms in need in partnership with DonorsChoose.org. Available from August 27 through Sept. 30, each sale in-store and online will benefit projects at schools around participating retail locations, including within the Valley.
Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery in Old Town Scottsdale is now offering a $10 lunch menu, available Monday through Friday until 3 p.m. The special lunch menu features a variety of mouthwatering artisan dishes consisting of locally sourced and organic food, including the portobello burger, fish tacos, pork carnitas tacos and much more.
Wednesday, Sept. 5, is National Cheese Pizza Day, and Fired Pie wants to help you celebrate by offering half off a cheese pizza with the purchase of any drink at all 20 locations. (This deal is valid for cheese pizzas only and not through third-party delivery services.) Also during the month of September, Fired Pie is participating in the No Kid Hungry Campaign. For every $1 you donate to No Kid Hungry while at any of Fired Pie’s 20 locations, you will receive a voucher for a free Pookie (a chocolate chip cookie or macadamia nut cookie dough topped with vanilla bean ice cream) for use on your next visit. In celebration of National Cheese Pizza Day on Wednesday, Sept. 5, Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill in the Biltmore in Phoenix, will add its long-awaited, highly anticipated Chicago-style deep dish pizza to its menu offering guests half-priced cheese deep dish pizza all day long, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. (Offer good for dine in only.)
To celebrate the grand opening of Giordano’s in Phoenix, on Wednesday, Sept. 5, the restaurant will hold a family-friendly celebration starting at 4 p.m. Part of that experience is the “cheese pull”–guests of all ages will have the opportunity to create their own cheese pull photo when they raise a slice of piping hot cheesy pizza far above the pie.
