Joyride Taco House (pictured) recently launched all-new Shares and Sweets to its summer menu. Kick off your meal with fresh new Shares including corn fries with tomatillo ranch for dipping, house chicharrones, as well as lighter summer options including watermelon and pepino salad, sea bass ceviche and crispy shrimp al pastor. In addition to the new Shares, there are also new options for veggie lovers including crispy Brussels sprouts with pickled fresno chili and roasted shrooms. For dessert, feast on Insta-worthy Tricked Out Churros. Dive into Nutella-banana churros and Flintstone churros rolled in Fruity Pebbles and sweetened condensed milk, or go all out with a shareable churro sundae.
Guests are invited to The Little Woody’s annual Christmas in July event July 25 to July 27 with specialty events, festive cocktails and more for three days only in support of New Pathways for Youth. On July 25, attendees can sing their hearts out with Christmas carol karaoke from 9 p.m. to midnight; on July 26, visit in festive Hawaiian apparel for a chance to win a prize from 8 to 11 p.m. And, on July 27, enjoy delicious chili with Santa himself. During the special event, the restaurant will also be hosting a back-to-school drive. For every school-related item donated, Little Woody will provide a free drink (limit one drink only per person).
On Thursday, July 25, Dairy Queen will donate at least $1 from every Blizzard Treat sold in the Valley, Central and Northern Arizona to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for DQ’s 14th annual Miracle Treat Day.
After reopening its doors after some remodel and repair work, Ocean Prime introduces its new Half Price Happy Hour Special on featured oysters with frozen granita as well as Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs or rosé by the glass or by the bottle. Every Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout the summer, guests can enjoy six oysters with frozen granita for $13 paired with a glass of Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs for $8.50 or a bottle for $42.50, or a glass of Schramsberg Rosé for $10.50 or a bottle for $52.50.
Salty Sow in Scottsdale has introduced brand new items to the menu, bringing back diner favorites as well as adding heartier, healthy items to the list of appetizers and entrees. The new lineup, created by Executive Chef Israel Medina, will feature a new Chef’s choice daily bruschetta, shrimp options as well as handmade pasta and filet.
