Sprinkles Cupcakes in Scottsdale will show its support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October by donating 100 percent of the proceeds from their Pink Ribbon cupcake on Oct. 1 to The Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) Breast Cancer Biomarker Discovery Project. Pink Ribbon cupcakes are offered on this day only.
On Oct. 3, National Bank of Arizona (NB|AZ) hosts its seventh annual Taste of the Biltmore event from 6 – 9 p.m. The event will offer unlimited food and wine tastings from more than 20 top local restaurants. Tickets are $35 online and at the door. They can be purchased here: www.nbaztaste.com.
Del Frisco’s Grille in Phoenix will partner with Susan G. Komen Central and Northern Arizona (Komen CAN AZ) to host two food-filled fundraisers this fall. The lineup kicks off on Sept. 30 with a charity golf tournament and dinner (tickets to this 144-player tournament are available for $125 by calling the restaurant at 602.466.2890); on Oct. 5, guests can take part in a can’t-miss cocktail party from 6-10 p.m. Plus, throughout October, Del Frisco’s Grille will offer $1 off cheesesteak eggrolls, with a portion of the proceeds donated directly to Komen CAN AZ’s efforts to fund breast cancer services and research.
