Little Cleo’s (pictured) is offering its first-ever six-course tasting dinner on Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. Executive Chef Eric Ramirez has prepared tastes of fresh seafood, like grilled octopus, oysters, fish and chips and much more. The dinner is $55 per person plus tax and gratuity; wine pairings are available for an additional $20 per person. Space is limited and reservations are required. In honor of Caffe Boa’s 20-year anniversary, the Tempe restaurant is undergoing a facelift. The five-stage, $250,000 renovation includes updates to the interior (resulting in a modern farmhouse feel) as well as additions to the menu.
On Thursday, April 3, Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill celebrates 20 years by giving the first 20 customers that comes into each of their 14 Valley locations a free Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. For those who can’t be there early, the restaurant will still give them a free eggroll on that day.
The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix’s bistro 24 will be hosting a tequila pairing dinner on Friday, April 4. Beginning at 6 p.m. with a patio reception featuring live entertainment, the event will include a five-course dinner exclusive paired with blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas. The menu includes a crab salad, chipotle pork rib appetizer, main course of roasted duck with honey-lime sauce and a dessert of tres leche to finish. On Sunday, March 30, RA Sushi in Ahwatukee is hosting its first-ever painting party with Uptown Art. The Chandler painting studio will bring an instructor and all of the necessary supplies to RA Sushi in Ahwatukee so that registered guests can paint the chosen artwork, Red Moon. On April 1, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is unveiling its Potato and Rosemary Pizza. This specialty pizza is topped with thinly sliced red potatoes and then lightly sprinkled with rosemary and gorgonzola cheese.
The new Oregano’s Cave Creek is slated to open April 1. The new restaurant has been documented as the very first commercial building on Cave Creek Road (the restaurant is located in an historic 1920’s building). Oregano’s popular menu items remain the same, but there will be an expanded wine, beer and specialty drink menu in this new Cave Creek location.
