Guy Fieri is returning to Phoenix in his latest season of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” The celebrity restaurateur is back in business with an exciting lineup of restaurants that he will be visiting and sharing with his TV viewers this season, which will feature two special stops in the Valley along the way.
The newest season of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” premiered in January and follows Fieri on his most recent road trip across America in search of great food. From Boulder, Colo., and Memphis, Tenn., to Orlando, Fla., and Philadelphia, Pa., Fieri highlights one-of-a-kind restaurants in each destination.
However, for Arizona residents, this new season features two can’t-miss episodes. Tune in to the Food Network this month to watch Fieri visit two restaurants in the Valley: The Fry Bread House in Phoenix and Hush Public House in Scottsdale.
Guy Fieri’s first stop in Arizona this season is The Fry Bread House, which airs February 16 on episode 7. During this segment, viewers will watch Fieri sample posole and fry bread, a traditional recipe of the Tohono O’odham people of Arizona that Tohono O’odham woman and Arizona native Cecilia Miller began serving to the Phoenix area when she founded The Fry Bread House in 1992. Today, The Fry Bread House menu features fry bread tacos, simple fry bread and sweet fry bread.
Fieri’s next stop in Arizona is Hush Public House, which airs February 23. Here, he’ll try unique menu items like Italian beef and duck fried rice. The restaurant is known for its eclectic seasonal menu, craft cocktails, local beer, great wine and upscale yet inviting atmosphere.
To get the full “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” experience in Arizona, viewers can check out past episodes on the show, which feature at least three dozen other local restaurants, or they can stop by Guy Fieri’s Downtown Phoenix Kitchen + Bar at Caesars Sportsbook and enjoy menu items like the renowned Trash Can Nachos and Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings.
Most importantly, be sure to check out The Fry Bread House and Hush Public House to support our local restaurants and experience the amazing food that got these two places a spot on the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” map.
