To honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which kicks off today, several Valley restaurant are dishing up delicious ways to give to worthy BCA causes.
Servers and staff at Scottsdale Quarter’s Dominick’s Steakhouse will be wearing pink ties for the entire month of October. Plus, the steakhouse is offering 100 percent of the proceeds from its Pink Drink, which is $15, to the Arizona Institute of Breast Health. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is sipping pink. The resort’s Talavera restaurant and Onyx Bar & Lounge will feature the signature Jalisco Heat cocktail—a pink-hued combo of strawberry- and jalapeno-infused tequila, fresh lime juice and agave nectar. To do good alongside fine dining, Talavera will highlight a four-course rosé tasting dinner on Oct. 25 ($85 per person). Plus, all three Four Seasons restaurants, including Proof, will also be spotlighting rosé wine specials in honor of the month. SOL Cocina at Scottsdale Quarter will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from its $10 Ta-Ta Tini to he Arizona Institute for Breast Health for the entire month of October. SOL’s Ta-Ta Tini is made up of 100 percent blue agave tequila infused for two days with fresh watermelon and hibiscus flowers; it is then shaken with a touch of lime juice and agave nectar and garnished with hibiscus flowers. www.solcocina.com.
Paradise Bakery & Cafe is bringing back its Pink Ribbon Bagel for the month of October. The cherry-vanilla bagel is formed in the shape of a ribbon during Breast Cancer Awareness month, and enhanced with a mix of cherry chips, dried cherries, cranberries, vanilla, honey and brown sugar.
