On Thursday, Nov. 11, the Valley celebrates the nation’s brave soldiers with Veteran’s Day dining specials.
Sassi On Veteran’s Day, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., the Scottsdale-based Italian restaurant is offering a complimentary three-course meal to members of the U.S. Armed Forces (former or currently serving). The three-course meal also includes a non-alcoholic beverage. There will also be a community table available for those diners who attend solo. BLT Steak The steakhouse at Scottsdale’s Camelback Inn will honor soldiers during its Thursday evening Camp Patriot dinner. The special menu includes lobster chowder with house-made bacon and a chive-cheddar biscuit; smoked and salt-crusted prime rib with sage mushroom bread pudding and rosemary jus; spaghetti squash with Spanish chorizo and brown butter butternut squash puree; and sticky toffee pudding served with banana ice cream and pecans. Diners can also dig into a selection of traditional American cocktails.
